Health and Safety at DataConnect 2024

Your health and safety are important to us. Women in Analytics is complying with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and relevant state and local authorities in an effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for DataConnect 2024 attendees during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

However, COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease and it is not possible to eliminate the risk of spreading or contracting COVID-19. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and efforts to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 may not be sufficient to prevent spreading or contracting COVID-19.

All DataConnect participants have to acknowledge and agree to the COVID-19 Release and Hold Harmless agreement.

Women in Analytics asks you NOT attend DataConnect 2024 if any of the following apply:

Proof of Vaccination at DataConnect 2024:
Women in Analytics does not require individuals to show proof of vaccination to register and attend DataConnect 2024.

Mask Wearing at DataConnect 2024:
On March 7th, 2022, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther signed an ordinance to officially end the mask mandate in Columbus.

Women in Analytics with the Hyatt Regency Columbus, are complying with all Federal, State and Local mandates in an effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for DataConnect 2023 attendees during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees are welcome to wear a mask onsite and will be available at the help desk; however, mask wearing will not be enforced.

Physical Distancing
Currently at this time, there are no social distance mandates in place and required by the Hyatt Regency Columbus, the city of Columbus, Franklin County or the State of Ohio. DataConnect 2024 participants are encouraged to social distance according to their comfort level; however, social distancing will not be enforced.
