Join us for an EdTech Info Session featuring leading organizations in the field: COSI, The AI Education Project and TECH CORPS. This session will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in educational technology and how these organizations are working to build sustainable solutions to better integrate technology into educational programming. During the session, representatives from each organization will share their unique perspectives on EdTech, discuss their programs, and share success stories. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the presenters.
Charlotte Dungan is Chief Operating Officer at The AI Education Project. Charlotte was a computer programmer for 10 years and has an Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University. She has created new student experiences, curriculum, and professional development since 2008 and you may have seen her as the face of AI in the CS is Elementary videos! Her vision is to change the fundamental understanding of AI in society. The AI Education Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that creates equitable learning experiences that excite and empower students everywhere with AI literacy. We believe that everyone—especially those who are likely to be disproportionately impacted by AI systems—should have access to the conceptual knowledge and skills they need to thrive as workers, creators, consumers, and citizens.

Dr. Liz Marchio is the Research and Evaluation Associate at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Liz utilizes various forms of evaluation to test and research educational outcomes across a suite of COSI programs spanning on-site, off-site, and online. Previous to COSI, Dr. Liz earned her Ph.D. in social sciences from Texas A&M University in researching science-as-leisure and previously studied ichthyology and zoology at Southeastern Louisiana University and The Ohio State University. Her work in the natural sciences laid the groundwork for studying how leisure activities, such as visiting a museum, interacting with science activities or even keeping a home aquarium, can mold people into scientifically oriented and real-life amateur scientists. She maintains her citizen/community science outreach in monitoring plastic pollution – ask her about nurdles!

Carla Easley has spent more than 20 years educating and empowering students in one way or another. She has significant experience with program development and management as well as with cultivating and managing relationships with various program partners. As the Director of Operations for TECH CORPS, Carla is responsible for overseeing the operations necessary to ensure that the organization achieves its objectives; this includes training and supporting the Manager-level staff to execute the daily functions of their positions. Carla also works closely with the National Executive Director to coordinate TECH CORPS' national expansion.
