Description

Data professionals working in the Analytics discipline spend their daily work lives trying to influence decisions and create impact with the data resources available to them. We all get trained extensively in college, grad schools and boot camps on the various steps required to perform Data mining and gather insights from complex datasets. But, many industry wide surveys report that Analytics professionals  often spend more than half of their time in Data wrangling, trying to clean, enrich and remove biases from our datasets so we can move on to the glorious deep analysis tasks that we all love doing. In my talk I will be sharing my thoughts on why Data Quality and Transformation should be on everyone's mind and how teams can come together and collectively make this a habit that sticks. Audience will also be learning about how Analytics can  modularize and templatize parts of their jobs to make more time for Deep Analysis work and improve their  "Speed to insight".
